With the Location Capture System (LCS), we specialize in location recordings of full orchestras, orchestral groups, choirs, classical groups like string quartets, brass ensembles, etc., classical crossover groups, jazz artists, big bands, or other artists specializing in pianos, pipe organs, and theater organs. Our recordings capture the artists, their instruments, and the recording environments wherever in the United States they may be, and all in high-resolution 64-channel audio. the Location Capture System is revolutionizing the way high resolution audio can be captured and tracked in any environment.

The Location Capture System provides Master Recordings the ability to capture incredible performances with high-quality Neve 1073 Pre-Amps (48 channels) and Millenia HV-3/8 and Focusrite Platinum OCTOPRE (providing an additional 16 channels) for recordings with up to 64 microphone/input channels which can be captured and tracked in any concert hall, auditorium, church, theatre, or venue in the United States. Master Recordings utilizes the very best A/D converters available, recording at the highest resolutions possible.  The recording is tracked on two Mac Pro’s, one connected to AVID Pro-Tools MTRX converters with analog inputs, and the second connected to the DANTE primary and secondary networks to allow up to 128 DANTE channels.

The remote recordings are monitored through a 7.2 precision monitoring system of Neumann monitors. Once the recordings are captured, we bring the multi-channel, high resolution tracks back to the Master Recordings Mix Room and the controlled 9.2.6 monitoring environment for the final mix and mastering to Stereo, Dolby Atmos, Sony 360 or any other needed format. Primary Racks

– At the stage or recording location has 24 channels of Neve 1073 mic preamps for a total of 48 channels of superb sound.
    – Each 1073 OPX (8-channel preamp) is remote controlled and has analog outputs that run back to the control/mix location via 200’ analog multi-pair Jumperz snakes, and DANTE with primary and secondary DANTE digital networks and DANTE system controls.
    – Each of these two racks have two silent network switches with 10GB connections to the main control/mix location racks via a 200’ EtherCon multi-pair CAT 6A digital Jumperz snakes.

– At the control/mix location are 3 AVID Pro Tools MTRX processors with 64 Analog Inputs and 64 analog outputs as well as DANTE, both primary and secondary DANTE digital networks in silent switches. MADI is also available.
    – The analog part of the system is designed to record up to 64 channels at 24/96, 24/192, or DSD.
    – The 128-channel Focusrite RedNet DANTE Digital is part of the MTRX Systems and/or the direct Focusrite DANTE from the Neve 1073 OPX mic preamps can also provide up to 64 channels at 24/96, and/or the 64-chanel Allen & Heath Avantis.

– At the control/mix location are an additional 16 channels of high-quality analog mic preamps, a media player, and an Alesis ADAT 24-channel HD hard disc recorder as an additional back-up.
    – Includes an 8-channel Focusrite Platinum OCTOPRE with dynamics.
    – Includes an 8-channel Millenia HV-3/8.
    – Features 16 additional analog lines that run back to the control/mix location via the 200’ analog multi-pair Jumperz snakes.
    – Provides the additional 16 mic preamps for a total of 64 channels.

    – The 16TB OWC Thunderbay 4 Mini is utilized for recording storage with four 4TB SSD hard drives providing 8TB of recording space with 8TB mirror for a total of 16TB recordings.

– At the control/mix location is the second rack mounted Mac Pro recording from Focusrite DANTE 128 X 128 RedNet system recording in Pro Tools.
